Rest in Power and Peace Hawthorne
Donation protected
In their loving wife's words, "On September 19, Hawthorne Barber-Dubois
passed away suddenly at home. I don’t have words for the depth of my pain, or for my love for this incredible human. All I know is that they are no longer in pain, and that they are with Oscar.
What a beautiful piece of heartache
This has all turned out to be
Shine bright, my endless love. I miss you so."
This was not the first tragedy experienced by the Barber-Dubois family. On July 19, 2018 Oscar Prince was born still. As Hawthorne so eloquently announced, he went to where the wild things are.
Hawthorne leaves behind their wife, MJ, and their daughter, Lucy Danger. In this time of pain and sorrow, the last thing Hawthorne would want MJ to worry about is financial burdens. As such, this fund is to help support MJ and Lucy. I am hoping to raise money to help any immediate costs in this time but also to hopefully put some money away for Lucy to one day attend college and pursue her dreams.
At this time, I ask that you donate if you can. Share if you can't. If all else fails, go out and vote on November 3rd in memory of Hawthorne. If you can't do any of those things, play a song, sip some whiskey, read some Foucault, and fight the good fight.
Donations may also be made to OUTright Vermont.
