Our film is based around the genre of black comedy. The story focuses on a man, Ethan, who is meeting his in-laws for the very first time at a funeral, but doesn’t know how to handle this stressful situation so turns to alcohol to fuel his confidence. The ideas throughout the film emphasises strongly on first impressions and drunken mistakes.
We will be creating a professionally colour graded and edited film that will be premiered at the grand Astor Theatre in Chapel Street in December 2017 when it will continue on in an international film festival circuit.
