Rest In Peace Tammy Velasquez, our sweet angel
August 5th, 2021
Heaven gained one of the most beautiful angels to walk through those gates. I write this with the heaviest of hearts and on the behalf of all of her boys. Tammy Joan Velasquez loved her boys more than anything in this world and knew that we would have spoiled and did anything for the only woman in our family. She battled many obstacles in her lifetime, but the hardest fight she fought was her battle with cancer (Stage IV Stomach Cancer). May of 2017 was the day that changed all of our lives forever. She was given only 6-9 months to live, but we all knew at that moment her fight wasn't over, therefore, we all were by her side and took care of her as our little baby and gained an extra four years with her. We couldn't be more grateful for that time with her. We as brothers, sisters, parents, and friends are all very saddened to have lost such a beautiful person in our lives, but all understand that she is now at peace and no longer in pain. She was met at the gates with open arms from her mother Joan and her youngest brother, Issac De La Riva, who just passed away earlier this year in February. As our mom was the oldest of her siblings. May they all rest in peace and now celebrate together!
We wanted to create this go fund me in hopes to be able to give our mother the best celebration of life and send off to heaven party ever, because we know that's exactly what she would want. Her four boys were her rock and having us surround her is what made her the most happiest woman on this earth. We also want to thank everyone for sending all of their love, prayers, good energy, and condolences to our family. No one ever prepares you for things like this in life, but in times like this one realizes and opens their eyes and sees those who actually spread love and who are there for the family that is left with such heart break.
Again, thank you everyone and we always say that a little goes a long way and anything helps to lay our beautiful mother to rest. A like, a share or a post would be greatly appreciated and we are forever grateful for all of you.
We love you Mom.
Forever loved and never forgotten.
