Alfred Matthew Opolka 09/21/86 - 08/28/21

Hello everyone, I’m reaching out to you all for some assistance. My family lost a very special and important person. Matthew, my brother, was an incredible member of my family. He gave so much to make sure our family got what they needed and he supported us throughout everything. He drove us, fed us, cooked, cleaned up after us all. He was loved by all and we wouldn’t be who we are without him. I want to reach out to you for financial assistance for my family during this time. We are looking for assistance with cremation and urn costs as well as financial assistance for my family. My dad relied on Matthew for so much and now that he’s gone we just aren’t sure what to do. Matthew provided so much time, money, and effort into making sure the family’s needs were met each and every day. He gave us all our most memorable birthdays, our cherished holidays where he decorated the house, he was our Santa on Christmas every year giving presents to the whole family. He supported my Dad around the house all day doing chores, caring for the many dogs, and cooking dinner for the whole family. He supported his partner by his side all day by loving and caring for his needs. He supported all his nieces and nephews cooking and cleaning up after them and driving them everywhere. He supported his sisters by caring for them, feeding them, and making sure they were strong and confident every day.

Matthew passed away on the 28th after a long battle with Meningitis, and other immune system problems resulting from Meningitis, he pushed and he battled for so long. He even saved his last breath for the moment I walked in the room. 

He gave us everything, now we want to give him the process and the nice urn that he desired. It’s the least we could do for everything he gave to us.
