On February 11, 2019, Macoy Hicks left this earth for heaven. My sister and her husband lost their baby boy at only 20 years old. They say there’s no deeper sorrow than losing a child. The grief they will and are experiencing is enough to bring anyone to their knees.
Macoy was a kind and gentle soul who made us all proud. He served his country in the navy. But most importantly he was a devoted son to Mike and Jolee, a loving brother to Sienna, a grandson to Wanda, Patsy & Jerry and Patrick & Carole, a nephew to Pat, Eric, Roland and Kate, a cousin and friend to more than we know.
The average funeral costs $7,000. The last stressor Jolee and Mike need is to figure out how they’re going to pay for all that Macoy deserves as we say goodbye. Please consider donating, no amount is too small.
