Dear Family & Friends,
It is with a heavy heart and great sorrow that we share the passing of our beloved Cody Brandon Chavez. On February 17, 2022, we lost an essential member of our family as Cody took his last breath and joined his mother and father in heaven. Cody was a father, a brother, an uncle, a nephew, a cousin, and a friend, who was immensely loved and will be greatly missed. Anyone who knew Cody could attest to the fact that he was a one of a kind person. He had a drive that pushed him to hustle and succeed in many areas of his life. Cody was a survivor, he was a hard worker, and he made an impact on the lives of the people who were important to him. He was very charismatic with an infectious smile, he was outgoing and adventurous, he loved to dance and enjoyed music to the fullest, and his life was taken from him too soon. The most important thing in Cody’s whole world was his daughter Alina who he loved very much. We are completely heartbroken and devastated over this unexpected loss, and our lives will be forever changed. We are reaching out to friends, family, and the community to raise money to pay for his funeral expenses and to start a trust fund to ensure that his daughter will be taken care of. We are incredibly grateful for anything you can contribute, and we would like to thank everyone for your kind thoughts, condolences, and prayers. Cody will never be forgotten in our hearts, and his Goofy laugh will be forever missed. Funeral arrangements have yet to be determined but will be updated as soon as plans are set in place.
