Rest In Peace Christopher Ghanem, 6/24/75-4/7/2020; You will forever be remembered.
It is with great sadness, the Atwan family announces the passing of Christopher Issa Ghamen, due to heart failure, on the afternoon of April 7th, 2020, at the age of 44.
Private funeral service will be held at 1pm on April 9th, 2020 at Saint Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church, located at 5200 Diamond Heights Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94131. Following the service, the interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, located at 1500 Mission Road, Colma, CA, 94014 (due to the current restriction of covid-19).
Christopher was born on June 24th, 1975 to Ghamen Ghamen and Basima Atwan, in San Francisco, California. Christopher attended Holy Name and Riordan schools in San Francisco. He survived the rigorous training at the College of San Mateo Police Academy and passionately pursued his career as a San Francisco Sheriff Deputy. In his spare time he enjoyed computers, cars, movies, jokes, and socializing. Early in his young adult life Christopher battled diabetes, heart disease, and kidney dialysis until the Lord ushered him into His presence.
He is survived by his mother, Basima, step-father Khader, his sister Lisa and many members of the Ghamen, Jaghab and Atwan families and several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Please pray for Christopher, that he is at peace and no longer in pain, as he unites with our Heavenly Father.
