My dear mother was born in February 1, 1952 as one of 7 siblings to Earl & Virginia Olbinski. She married my father Agustin in 1974 and I was born in 1975. She named me after her brother who died when she was young. She cut hair and was mostly a homemaker. When I was deployed overseas with the USMC, she was terrified though was relieved when I returned safe & sound. Overjoyed when she finally got grandchildren after I married in 2005, she loved her grandchildren more than anything in the world and would have given the shirt off her back for them. Always craving any opportunity to be around them and taking every excuse to come and clean my house on her hands and knees even when I begged her not to and could complete practically the entire house before lunch. She always ate and ate but was always thin! Over the last couple years, though, her health had degraded and she became quite frail and slowed down considerably. She has been in and out of the hospital so many times in the last few years that I lost count and was in continual pain since breaking her hip.
She had a great devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and tried to help wherever she could at Holy Family Catholic Church in Hesperia with the baptism team, as a reader of Scripture in holy Mass, and helping out wherever she could and passed on her love of the Roman Catholic faith to me. She had never stopped mourning her father, who passed in 2004 and her mother who passed in 2012 and was often visiting their graves many times a year, praying for them. I miss her terribly and my tears and grief stand in stark contrast to the relief over her pain finally being over and praying for the rest of her immortal soul and preparing for the funeral rights of the Catholic Church in the traditional Latin Rite.
I'm honestly quite daunted by the funeral home expenses. As her only son, I am organizing everything and there were no previous arrangements made, so appreciate anyone who knew her and loved her and can contribute.
