Felicia Noroña Calzadilla was born 7/10/1954 in Havana Cuba. She came to the U.S in 1980 where she dedicated her life to being an exceptional Homemaker. She later became a caregiver providing support for ill patients’ and their families. Throughout her entire life she dedicated her heart to her kids and grandchildren. Her heart of gold spewed over our family and anyone whom she met. Mom loved to dance and was so good at it. Her grandkids would always mess with her and truly enjoyed their times with her. Mom was very private and meticulous about sharing her personal life. Mom was diagnosed with stomach Cancer in December of 2018. She received several rounds of chemo in the coming months which absolutely debilitated her. However, she had good days in between treatments. She remained strong and never shed a tear until one day in June “she cried to me and told me, Julie I’m tired.” During her last weeks on this earth Nurses and Doctors alike could not medically understand how Mom was still here. They would ask, “is she a stubborn lady” and with a smile I would answer No, she’s just a strong woman. Mom was in excruciating pain on her last days which encouraged us to pray to our Heavenly Father to please take her. Mom did not lose her battle to cancer, she simply won her way to Heaven. Mom was surrounded by her family as she took her last breath. We ask for your help in any amount big or small to help with her cremation and service expenses. We would like to thank you all for your calls, messages, visits, dinners and sympathy during this very difficult time. Memorial service is set for Sunday September 1st; details to follow. Thank you in advance for your help in giving our Mom her final "see you later."
