Rest in Heaven, Dad. We love & miss you, deeply.

Hello, and our condolences from the Haynes-Wagner-Trim family. Trust us when we say we know how impossibly difficult it is to lose someone as influential in our lives as Linwood Sr. So many of you have asked if there’s anything you can do to help, so we put this together.

Our dad, Linwood R. Haynes Sr. passed away on June 2, 2023. We are currently in the process of settling all of his affairs and putting together a beautiful memorial service, including a flag-folding ceremony, for his remembrance. All of his many, many friends and family will be informed of the date to attend via his Facebook page, text, calls and messenger, so please be on the lookout as we know he would really appreciate you being with us, if you’re able.

Linwood was a loving father, grandfather, friend, brother, son, and co-worker. He was hilarious, brilliant, stubborn, loyal, loving, kind and generous. He was a wonderful dad and an even better grandpa. He took that particular job very, very seriously.

He grew up in Littleton, NC, served 21 years in the US Army, saw the world and then retired to Clarksville & Killeen where he happily spent every waking minute with his favorite people in the world: his son and his 3 beautiful grand-babies. Throughout his journey he has made lifelong friends whom he cherished so, so deeply. Not a single day could pass without him telling us a story about his life and the fun times he had with his friends and his family. We were all truly *everything* to that man.

His death was way too soon and none of us were prepared to lose him. We humbly ask for your support and your thoughts and prayers as our family navigates this difficult time.
