We are raising funds to honor the memory of my aunt Udelia González Reséndiz, a loving mother, daughter, and cherished friend. Udelia was a strong, compassionate, and caring person who brought joy to everyone she met. She was a cat lover and always found a way to make others smile, striking up conversations with anyone and spreading happiness wherever she went.

Udelia leaves behind her only child, Genesis, who is just 15 years old. Genesis is staying strong, but the loss of her mother has been incredibly difficult for her and our entire family. Udelia was diagnosed with aggressive stage four breast cancer, and despite enduring endless rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, she fought bravely until the very end. She was only 51 years old, just days away from her 52nd birthday.

Her final wish was to be laid to rest in Querétaro, Mexico, next to her father and mother. Udelia had been waiting 20 years to visit her father, working toward her residency and already in the process, but sadly, he passed away earlier this year at the age of 92. We are now working to fulfill her last wish by arranging her burial and transporting her back to Querétaro.

Anyone who knew Udelia knew she was a firm believer. She met Christ when she arrived in California, and ever since, she has taken refuge in Christ's arms. She was faithful to God because he gave her the strength to resist until her very last breath. She was a strong and brave woman, and we will always remember her. She will be in our hearts forever.

The funds raised will help cover the costs of Udelia's medical bills, burial service, and the transportation needed to bring her home to Mexico. Any support will help us honor her memory and provide comfort to all of her family during this incredibly difficult time. Thank you for helping us give Udelia the farewell she deserves.

Estamos recaudando fondos para honrar la memoria de mis tía Udelia González Reséndiz, una madre amorosa, hija dedicada y amiga muy querida. Udelia fue una persona fuerte, compasiva y cariñosa, que trajo alegría a todos los que la conocieron. Amaba a los gatos y siempre encontraba la manera de hacer sonreír a los demás, iniciando conversaciones con cualquiera y compartiendo felicidad dondequiera que iba.

Udelia deja atrás a su única hija, Génesis, quien tiene solo 15 años. Génesis se mantiene fuerte, pero la pérdida de su madre ha sido increíblemente difícil para ella y para toda nuestra familia. A Udelia le fue diagnosticado un cáncer de mama agresivo en etapa cuatro y, a pesar de haber soportado incontables rondas de quimioterapia y radiación, luchó con valentía hasta el final. Tenía solo 51 años, a pocos días de cumplir 52.

Su último deseo fue ser sepultada en Querétaro, México, junto a su padre y su madre. Udelia llevaba 20 años esperando poder visitar a su padre, trabajando para obtener su residencia y ya en proceso, pero tristemente él falleció a principios de este año a los 92 años. Ahora estamos trabajando para cumplir su último deseo, organizando su entierro y transportándola de regreso a Querétaro.

Quienes conocieron a Udelia saben que era una mujer de fe. Conoció a Cristo al llegar a California y, desde entonces, se refugió en sus brazos. Fue fiel a Dios porque Él le dio la fortaleza para resistir hasta su último aliento. Fue una mujer fuerte y valiente, y siempre la recordaremos. Vivirá por siempre en nuestros corazones.
