Support Erik Sanchez: A Tireless Advocate for Arizona’s Most Vulnerable
Erik Sanchez is the heart and soul of The MASA Project of Arizona, a nonprofit organization dedicated to feeding the homeless, providing crisis relief, and fighting addiction in Phoenix. For years, Erik has poured every ounce of his energy into serving thousands of individuals and families in need—working 110-hour weeks, often without rest, pay, or recognition.
Every night, from 7 PM to 4 AM, Erik and his team are on the streets, distributing food, water, and life-saving resources. He has personally revived overdose victims with CPR, provided a shoulder for those at their lowest, and fought relentlessly to create solutions where none existed. MASA serves over 4,000 meals a month, operates a community pantry, and advocates for systemic change—all driven by Erik’s unwavering commitment to making Arizona a better place for all.
But behind this selfless mission, Erik is struggling. His mother has cancer, and the emotional and physical toll of running a high-intensity nonprofit is wearing him thin. With no time to breathe, no break to process his own struggles, and no support system in place for himself, Erik needs our help.
We are launching a GoFundMe to send Erik on a much-needed vacation to clear his head, recover emotionally, and regain his strength. This is more than just a getaway—it’s a chance for a man who has given everything to others to finally take care of himself. Without this break, the burnout could have serious consequences—not just for Erik, but for the thousands of people who depend on him.
How You Can Help:
• Donate to help Erik take time off to recharge.
• Share this campaign to spread the word.
• Support MASA while he’s away by volunteering or making a contribution.
Erik has never asked for anything for himself, but we’re asking for him now. Let’s show Erik the same love and generosity he’s given to our community.
Help us give a hero a break.
Thank you for standing with Erik and The MASA Project of Arizona.
