We gather today with hearts heavy from the sudden departure of our beloved Samuel “Sam” Gonzaga—a loving father, a proud grandpa, a cherished brother, and a steady cousin. We lost Sam too soon, but the legacy of his resilience, his faith, and his dedication to family will live with us forever.

Sam taught us that value can be found anywhere. We remember him best working alongside his parents, a scene of quiet, resourceful devotion. With his grey truck humming nearby, he would patiently dismantle old televisions, transforming discarded scrap into something useful and earning a living in the process. This was more than just work; it was Sam’s way of spending meaningful time with the people he loved most and demonstrating a hardworking spirit that shaped our entire family.

His great depth of character showed in everything he did. Sam was an amazing artist, seeing the beauty in the world and sharing it through his hands. He was a man of quiet, powerful faith, demonstrating incredible focus and devotion by copying the Bible, page from page, ensuring its words stayed close to his heart. And while he embraced the profound, he was also a man who loved the simple, comforting joys of life, especially a delicious bowl of maruchan soup.

Sam was the true anchor of our family. Even when life threw its toughest challenges our way, he was the glue that kept us together, providing the necessary strength and steadiness. His legacy endures in the strength of his two strong boys and the pure light we see reflected in his two beautiful grandkids.

While we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the generous, resourceful, and loving man he was. As we commit to honoring Sam with the beautiful, dignified farewell he deserves, we humbly ask for your support to help the family manage his funeral expenses during this impossibly difficult time. Nos reunimos hoy con el corazón pesado por la repentina partida de nuestro querido Samuel "Sam" Gonzaga: un padre amoroso, un abuelo orgulloso, un hermano querido y un primo estable.
