While we were closed here at Firenze By Night, our long time employee, Elias Chan (we'd say he was more like family) Contracted Covid-19. On Feb 9, 2021 Elias unfortunately lost his battle with Covid-19. We are all Heart Broken.
If you were lucky enough to know Elias, you knew how loving, generous, and kind he was. He touched so many people here in San Francisco. His smile was infectious!He had so much love for all of his friends who were now his family, Dogs, and of course his SF Giants!! He grew up in a town called Kancab, in the Yucatán, Mexico where his mother and family still reside. Elias's mother was his everything and he would want us to help her in any way we could. This is the only way we know how to help her right now. We are raising money to help with all the expenses they will have to face. Elias, our dear friend, you will be truly truly missed. Rest Easy.
