As most should know by now, Billie passed away Wednesday due to complications from the dreadful disease leukemia... Unfortunately she had no life insurance in place when she was blindsided with the diagnosis and the death sentence that comes with the type of leukemia she had... We tried obtaining some of course after the fact but was not successful in doing so...

Billie was very adamant about her wishes and she absolutely DID NOT want to be cremated, and it was one of the last things we talked about the morning of the day she passed..

Unfortunately not having insurance or other things setup to pay for a funeral and to be buried, cremation is the only option as of now...

This is weighing heavily on my mind so i have to at least try and raise the money to send her off the way she wished... I believe its very achievable with the help of all the friends and family, we have as well as my softball family/friends.. $6000 has to be raised within 10days to do so, thanks to the funeral provider... This unfortunate, horrible disease that has taken her away to soon already, made her last year and a half of life miserable and excruciatingly painful...With everyone who knows and loves Billie Jean, lets at least send her home per her wishes please, she definitely deserves it and she would definitely do it for others...
