Resiliency Center Capital Campaign - Phase 1

Tax deductible
Since training more than 5,000 first responders nation-wide since inception, First Responders Resiliency, Inc. (FRRI) is launching an initial Capital Campaign to raise $2 million to secure property for the first of its kind, the First Responders Resiliency Center.

As of May 2021, we have acquired 17.75 acres of property in Cotati, CA and begin cultivating the resources to build this center, and have since received an initial donation of $100,000.00 towards the two million dollar purchase price.

This award-winning organization, founded by a retired paramedic, is run entirely by former first responders who realized the various, existing programs offered to them are not creating lasting changes with high depression, disability and suicide rates in first responders.

FRRI’s unique, PROACTIVE training program has been inundated with requests for training from police departments, park rangers, fire departments, ambulance companies and hospitals across the states.

The organization’s primary goal has always been to create a First Responder Resiliency Center as a dedicated resource to help first responders and their families  avoid and recover from the symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress. This Center will support local and visiting first responders and their families by providing conferences, educational programs, and immediate access to trauma therapists, as well as massage, meditation, equine therapy and our proven physical resiliency training.

Please consider donating generously to the development of this Center so we can provide the first responders with a trusted location to receive the support and services they so desperately need.

First Responders Resiliency, Inc. is a non-profit organization established locally by Sonoma County first responders from all agencies: Law Enforcement, EMS, Fire, Naturopathic & ER Doctors. Drawing from their years of serving the public, intertwined with scientific data and research, our team has created a comprehensive, proactive training program that is devoted to mitigating the rising crisis of Post Traumatic Stress Injuries (PTSI) in first responders nationwide, not just locally.

Historically, the response to PTSI in first responders has been geared primarily toward reactive treatments, which include peer counseling, talk therapy, medication, and early retirement. Although (somewhat) varyingly beneficial as treatments options, these modalities offer no preventative care. Our program is designed to equip first responders with proactive modalities that prepare them in processing the trauma and stress are exposed to in their careers.

First Responders Resiliency, Inc. addresses the psychological, physical, neurological, emotional and relational elements with a comprehensive and holistic approach. Currently, we are developing statistical evidence with researchers from UCLA and Loma Linda University. We additionally are contracted with CAL FIRE and Canine Companions, Inc. working together to support first responders.

Please join us as we bring awareness and proactive solutions to this vital issue by supporting our efforts in hosting more training for first responders and their families. We additionally wish to invite you to join us in our legacy giving to build the first of its kind, The First Responder Resiliency Training Center in Sonoma, CA.
