Hello friends!
I just received news that I was accepted into a month long artist residency at Burren College of Art in Ballyvaughan, Ireland. This has been a goal of mine for the past few years! The goal of this residency is to have the time and opportunity to focus on creating a new series of drawings. I chose Ireland due to its vast landscapes and magical history. My undergraduate research was inspired by Irish Folklore and my future work will continue to be influenced by these topics. With your help, I will be able to immerse myself into a new world, experience new understandings of my cultural heritage, and art making process.
In order to make this happen, I need some financial support from my community. All the money donated will go directly to covering the residency fees, transportation, and art supplies.
Anyone that chooses to donate will receive a print of something I create during my time at the residency. Any donations over $1000 will receive a custom drawing up to 18x 24 in size. You can expect these gifts early 2024.
