Reshoots For Short Film to Reach Festival Dates

Hello my lovely creatures, why are we here? We are gathered here today because, I finished my short film Follows, yay! Bad news is that there was an issue with the mics during filming and now I am having to use camera audio boo. The jist is that one pivotal scene from the film is unsalvageable, we’ve managed to fix everything else. It is essential reshoot that scene in the studio and do a few picks ups we missed as well. Since, I would already be there, I would finish my other short Newborn (based on the isle of Dr, Moreau).

Everyone who donates will get special listing in the credits. The deadline for this is October 14th

Here is a breakdown of the funds:

Studio Rental $700

Food for the crew: $100-$200

Sound Tech: $400

Sound Engineer: $400

Actors Payment: $400

I do not want to have the same sound issue as before, so you can see why I would put such emphasis on getting the right help for audio.

I was devastated when I learned that my film was 90% done except for one scene. I have already done the leg work and want to see this through to completion. I refuse to send anything to a film festival if is is not quality. Please help me make this a reality. If you can’t donate that’s okay, if you could share it would mean the world to me.

I don’t like asking for help unless I really need it and now is one of those times. If I cannot get this scene fixed by November, I will have to wait an entire year to submit it or even share anything from Follows. I would be enternally grateful for any assistance you can give.
