Rescuing my Afghan Girl: Aru

HI! As most of you know I am over here in Afghanistan livin it up. If you know me or have ever met me, you know I'm slightly obsessed with rescuing dogs. Well Afghanistan is going to be short another stray thanks to quite a few people here with me and The Puppy Rescue Mission.
Meet Aru! This sweet girl is on her way to start her 30 days in quarantine before she ✈️ to America. Counting down the days until she is safe on US soil. Until then she is at a clinic that is taking very good care of her! As can be imagined of an Afghan dog, she is skin and bones and has a problem with her back left leg. They are working to get her in good enough shape to fly and I cant WAIT until she is home. I have to raise $1500 for her trip back to WA, if anyone's heart melts like mine does when I see her please consider donating. She has brought so much joy to the Soldiers out here and she deserves a loving home to match her personality. Aru means "to live" and we cant wait to give her the opportunity!
Puppy Rescue Mission has to raise quite a bit more money and soon they will also have a fundraiser up! Until then, I have made this page to get a head start to ensure she isnt in Afghanistan a day longer than necessary!
