Rescues Dogs Rambling to the Ridge

Hi, a group of intrepid rescue dogs are going to climb Cairn Table, near Muirkirk. Reaching a height of almost 600m above sea level it's not just a "wee donner". However, our dogs are up for the challenge - the same can't really be said about the humanoids but ach well....

The dogs will be fully equipped with bottles of water, cocktail sausages/chopped chicken, adopt me dog leads, waggy tails, poo bags and great attitudes for this adventure. They are keen to go - even if it means they are attached to a humanoid. It is their hope to raise £3,500 which will go towards the building of new kennels.

A previous Go Fund Me raised almost £5,500 out of a required £10,000 so the efforts continue. They are hoping to raise at least £3,500 towards the £10k required.

The dogs will be a mix of "available for adoption dogs" and "previously adopted dogs". The ones hoping to take part are subject to change but at the moment the list consists of :- Archie (golden retriever), Phantom (lurcher), Gaille (husky), Elektra (bull breed cross), Willow (GSD), Pixie (JRT cross), Rose (large crossbreed), George (crossbreed), Lily (golden retriever), Benji (Crossbreed), Bonnie (springer spaniel), Spook (lurcher) and any other Islay Adopted Dog who wishes to come along.

Not only will this be a fundraising mission but it will also be a wonderful day out for the dogs - followed by a meal and drinks for the walkers.
