Meet Charlie

Charlie is one of the kittens living on the streets right now.

When volunteers arrive with food, he runs over purring loudly, hopeful for a meal and a little attention. But as one of the smaller cats, he's often pushed aside by the older cats before he gets his turn.

Tonight, Charlie will sleep outside in the cold, waiting for the foster home and veterinary care that could change his life forever.

Help Rescue More Cats Like Charlie

Charlie is just one of many homeless cats relying on rescue, foster care and community support to find safety.

For more than ten years, I have opened my home to foster cats and kittens in need. During that time, I have never seen animal rescue under so much pressure. Across Victoria, rescue groups are full, they are begging for more foster carers, and vulnerable cats continue to be born on the streets with nowhere safe to go. Their only option is to be sent to the council pound, and that ends in high euthanasia rates.

Charlie and the cats pictured on this page are among those this fundraiser will help support. They didn't choose to be homeless. They didn't choose to go without food, shelter or veterinary care. They deserve the chance to be safe, healthy and loved.

That's why I'm raising funds for Forever Friends Animal Rescue.

Your donation will help provide the essential care needed to rescue these cats and Charlie from the streets and prepare them for foster care and adoption, including:

Desexing to prevent future litters

Flea treatment and vaccinations

Veterinary treatment for sick or injured cats

Food, litter and other daily care costs
