Family members in Bogalusa, Louisiana, realizing their home was on fire, raced to get their pets out in time. They managed to get two dogs, Shasta and Mailman, two siblings, and their grey tabby cat, Cookie, to safety, before the flames engulfed their home. They lost all their belongings and several other pets.

Unable to provide medical care for their three surviving pets, the family reached out to our group, and we agreed to bring them to the vet and raise money for their care.

Their care will be extensive and take close to a week of hospitalization, but we're determined to raise what it takes to help this poor family at their greatest time of need.
