Sugar Sweet Farms Petting Zoo has been in contact with Found in Thyme Farm Sanctuary after the zoo’s recent pending allegations. Sugar Sweet Farms has agreed to relinquish their animals and leased property to the care of Found in Thyme. We will ensure that every animal is immediately seen by our vet, who has agreed to work with us. We will also ensure that the animals will be appropriately housed, properly fed, and most importantly, we will make certain that all of the animals will be loved and cared for.
As a Sanctuary, our goal is to protect, rehabilitate, love and continue on our mission to rescue farm animals in need. However, we cannot do this without your support. Their lives depend on your help. Our goal is to raise $25,000 in order to take over ownership BUT our immediate, urgent need is for this weekend. $5,000 is needed to feed and secure these animals by Friday. Your donation will provide these animals with the care that they require and deserve. Every generous donation will allow us to assume the property lease, provide adequate and safe fencing, build the appropriate enclosures, and secure proper shelters for the animals based on their individual needs. Specific feeds and specialty vet care for over 52 animals, some who are pregnant, will also need to be covered with the money raised.
Found in Thyme will continue to support our rescue efforts by being available to the public as a non-profit sanctuary. We will be holding events on location that would give back to the community while supporting our cause. We will invite and encourage our community, supporters and sponsors to come and enjoy the friendship at these events with animals, in a safe and caring environment.
