Last hope for the Rescued Strays of Pakistan

I have recently been working very closely with Hina, the creator of the very rare Animal Rescue, Faltoo Sey Paltoo, located in Lahore, Pakistan.


This charity is probably the most important one to me because Hina is not only rescuing strays, abandoned and tortured cats and dogs. But she is an activist who is creating awareness in Pakistan. Eliminating the taboo to fear these strays, especially dogs. Children in many countries like Pakistan are taught to fear them and treat them like beings without emotions or the ability to feel pain. So many of them suffer without anywhere to turn. Animal rescues and Shelters are almost non-existent in Pakistan. This is the start of a hopeful future for every living animal there and the next generation. Hina and a few others have started a movement and need your help. She has exhausted her pleas in Pakistan and is turning to anyone worldwide who can help.

Hina and her organization are the home to over 20 dogs, 25 cats and 4 fosters.

She works with a local Vet and gets every rescue not only spayed and neutered but also given every medical treatment they need. However much the cost may be. Faltoo Sey Paltoo has never turned a helpless animal away due to being underfunded. They have an account with the Vet, which gets paid off over time thanks to donations.
Faltoo Sey Paltoo has been facing tough times. Not knowing how they would be able to feed all the cats and dogs they home. Medical expenses have been piling up.

Popee is a 7-year-old and is Hinas favorite furry person. He was left at the Vet to be euthanized as a kitten with Polio. After yelling his heart out, he was saved by Hina. Due to polio, Popee's legs were deformed, which over time led to one of his legs being amputated. That didn't stop him from living his best life. It wasn't until recently Popee was diagnosed with a dry form of FIP. FIP is a fatal disease, and Hina is not ready to let this disease take Popee and two other cats who are currently on medication for this.The treatment cost is approximately $3,000 usd. I added the extra $2,000 to be used for the remaining medical expenses for the other cats and dogs and their food.

It breaks my heart to post these pictures but people need to see how badly the animals are suffering there. They have such little hope of being saved. Hina and the few others who are passionate about making a change, are increasing that hope. 
I myself am adopting a dog from Faltoo Sey Paltoo. Raula and 20 other dogs were used to be experimented on at a University of all places. Sadly Raula was the only one Hina and her team could save and the other 20 ended up losing their lives. This experience turned him into a very traumatized dog. He was rescued two years ago after spending three years being tortured. He is deathly afraid of men and freezes in fear. His chances of adoption were close to nothing. Thankfully he has Faltoo Sey Paltoo. I have been working closely with Hina, on getting him to VA! (Note this fundraiser is not for Raula).
Every animal should have an happy beginning and end. Please donate so animal abuse can come to an end in Pakistan and help can be easily given to those who need it.
