Help Snowy, an Indian Street Dog, Fly to His Forever Home in the USA

Once part of a loving pack, Snowy, a gentle 7 to 9-year-old street dog, lost everything when two of his packmates were brutally killed by other dogs in his area. Left utterly alone and terrified, Snowy lived in constant fear, hiding away, knowing he could be next. His world, once familiar, had become a place of danger and trauma.

Over time, Snowy was hospitalized three times due to severe attacks and underwent multiple treatments for his injuries. With no safe place left for him, we at Project Meher stepped in and moved him to a paid home foster. There, Snowy slowly began to heal, learning to live indoors, walk on a harness, and trust the gentle touch of kindness again, all while we worked tirelessly to find him a forever home.

We’re beyond thrilled to share that Snowy has finally found his forever home in the USA! He has passed his Rabies Titer test and is fully ready to fly.

But we can’t get him there without your help.

Since August 2024, the CDC has introduced stricter regulations for dogs entering the U.S. from high-risk rabies countries like India. One of the biggest hurdles is a mandatory clearance fee of $2000–$2500, required at one of the six approved U.S. entry ports. This cost alone is a massive burden on small rescues like ours.

Thanks to his wonderful adopters and generous donors, all of Snowy's other expenses: flight booking, paperwork, Titer test are already covered. We now just need to raise $2500 to cover this final, crucial step.
