Chula and Buttercup have survived four months living on the streets of San Jose, CA. Their story is incredible—they were actually separated once, but managed to find each other again against all odds. They’ve been through so much, from dodging traffic to braving the cold, and they are survivors! Please share with any and all rescues so they don't end up at the shelter!

Until then, I'm keeping them safe, warm, and fed in my backyard and garage while I search for a permanent home for them. I wish I could keep these sweet, gentle babies! But I don't have the space or the finances to take in two more dogs...

Since I don't have insurance for these girls, I'd appreciate any help with vet expenses & dog food until I find them a home - and then whatever is left, I'm going to send with them to secure a good future! THANK YOU for caring for these pups!

UPDATE: I can't thank everyone enough. I have no words to express how touched I am that our community is working together to save the lives of these two pups! We are on day 3 of their ingestion of an unknown poison. They have been through SO MUCH! They deserve a fighting chance at a brighter future! Say a prayer for them and keep spreading the word! We have spent around $4500 so far on vet bills, and we have another appt tomorrow. We're almost through this. THANK YOU AGAIN.
