My name is Kim Bardin. I am helping to save this angel who has been named "Walter" by the shelter. There is a group of us who have been working diligently for the past 5 days on social media to get him out of the shelter in Los Angeles and up to Nor CA/Nor NV to his foster. His medical needs need to be addressed ASAP, or he could die of sepsis. He has facial lacerations, many scars, and abscessed teeth/tooth. He also must get vaccinated and neutered. A local rescue in So Cal (SCWSRF) has agreed to help us and pull him from the shelter, and we have finally acquired transport. We are asking for donations to cover costs of adoption fee, transportation, and vet bills.
Walter's story: Walter was found on 12/29 in the shelter parking lot (dumped). He has no microchip, no ID, and no one has come looking for him. He is a 6-year-old unaltered male black Labrador. Despite his medical condition, the shelter staff describes him as calm and compliant during all exams. He needs medical attention and a place to heal. This is not possible in the shelter environment.
