Hi my name is Chris and I found a 12 week old litter of puppies, 7 total, dumped in the woods on the side of a rural road in Florida during Hurricane Idalia clean up. The temp was 95 and they were dehydrated. After calling Animal Control they let us know the puppies would be put down. I wouldn’t let them die and I knew they would find good homes back in Ohio/Kentucky so I arranged to drive back and get them after returning home from work.

We took them to the vet to get shots before homing them and found them were full of parasites. The vet said due to the severity some may not make unless we gave them possibility costly care. I again decided I wouldn’t let them die. And began to care for them all. The next morning 2 had to be submitted to the vet for 24hour care and then this morning a third was submitted for 24 hour care. But thankfully one was released and is now in great shape.
