Rescue pup Mya needs our help from a hit and run

Shawn Cooke and Amanda Marie Roy and as most of you may know, their dog Mya is a rescue puppy from Texas . Before Covid 19 happened they found her on facebook and went threw the process to adopt her but then the puppy was on hold and in foster waiting to come to Canada because of Covid 19. She finally came to her furever home on July 18th and she was everything they had wished for. On July 20th she got away from her owners with her harness and leash still attached and disappeared for a whole week. We searched and search endlessly . We had volunteers helping us look for her .Monday  July 27th one entire week after she had gone missing we got a call that she was whimpering on the finders  front steps. They were so ecstatic that they're 6 month old puppy was found and coming home . Upon her return it was discovered that she had several cuts and scabs as well as a lump on her left rear leg as a result she was taken in to the vet for Xrays . It's been determined that she was struck by a vehicle resulting in her hip being completely dislocated. The vet told them that Mya needs the corrective surgery in Riverview Moncton costing anywhere between 3000 and 4000 dollars. Thye never ask for help and wouldnt be now if it wasnt of dire need. Mya needs the surgery A.S.A.P ,so please donate from the kindness of your heart and also know that it is greatly appreciated. Its heartbreaking to see her in such pain and discomfort shes had such a rough start we are going to try to make the rest of her life the very best to make up for all shes been through.
