Rescue Our Family Farm and Bee Haven
Donation protected
For years, it has been my grandmother's dream to reestablish the apiary she began working on years prior. My mom and aunt did the best they could with keeping it up, but unfortunately after a series of health problems that lead to my grandmother being admitted to the hospital and eventually passing, the materials for and foundations of the bee hives fell into disrepair. We are already looking at several thousands of dollars just in renovating the structure and getting new hives built.
On top of all of this, we have recently had greedy and estranged family members come out of the woodwork demanding a cut of my grandmother's estate.
My grandmother, Kathleen, was a simple woman who loved her flowers and loved to see the bees enjoying them as much as she did. The dream she had for the last few years is now being posthumously robbed from her by greedy and selfish family members who haven't seen or spoken to her in over a decade. My mom and aunt are the only two of her children still alive. They are both seniors who live month to month on a very fixed and limited income. In order to satisfy the estranged relatives, we will have to sell the majority of the land my grandmother owned, thereby removing any chance we have at fulfilling her dying wish.
Please help us to save our family farmland and restore her apiary to its working condition.
