Rescue Moroccan earthquake survivors

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Ihssane Leckey, the first Moroccan woman to have ever run for the U.S. House of Representatives. The death toll from the 6.8 magnitudes earthquake that hit the Marrakech region in Morocco has taken over 2,000 lives and left thousands more homeless. Together we can help. Every $50, $100, $300 or more helps. Donate what you can now.

How will the funds be spent?
Funds will be delivered directly to the thousands of families and children devastated by the deadly earthquake in remote areas. These are areas where people must get on foot up the mountains to deliver aid, and they are the ones at the epicenter that were hit the hardest. Many there are injured, and many are still under the rubble. Immediate funds are used to buy food, hygiene products, feminine products, baby formula, medical supplies, and blankets.

Who are the funds sent to?
Our head of operations on the ground is Taha Taafroukt who’s from Taroudant, Morocco and Maryland, USA. He will be receiving the funds from me via wire through Remitly. He is managing purchases and deliveries to remote areas (There are no administrative fees and we’re 100% volunteers).

How we will send the funds to Taha:
The funds will be withdrawn by me and then wired  to Taha through Remitly.
