Help Mohammed and Ayah Abulafi’s Family Escape Gaza and Rebuild Their Lives
My name is Adam Ali. I’m originally from Liverpool, England and now currently living in Dubai, UAE. I’m married and have three kids—one son and two daughters. I knew what it was like to struggle financially, which is why I’ve spent the last several years helping others in need.
This fundraiser is for Mohammed Abulafi and his wife Ayah Abulafi and their four children, a family I’ve personally been supporting for the past two years who are located in Gaza. I’ve been in regular contact with them through WhatsApp—video calls, voice notes, and messages. I’ve seen firsthand what they’ve endured, and I’ve included photos of their situation so people can truly understand their reality.
Childrens Name & Ages:
- Jana, Age: 14 years
- Jumana, Age: 9 years
- Suleiman, Age: 1 year
- Shadi, Age: 6 years
His son Shadi suffers from a chronic disease called abetalipoproteinemia (a condition related to low beta-lipoprotein levels in the blood).
I first connected with Mohammed nearly two years ago through a friend who knew them personally, and since then, we’ve built a strong friendship.
A Life of Constant Fear and Survival
For the past two years, Mohammed and his family have been living on the run, moving more than eight times to escape danger. Over the last year, they had no home and were forced to live on Gaza Beach in a tent.
• They endured flooding, extreme cold, and minimal food.
• They were often left hungry for days, barely surviving.
• A bomb was dropped right next to their tent, killing Mohammed’s 10-year-old cousin.
• They have witnessed horrific things that no one—especially children—should ever have to see.
Their Home Is Completely Destroyed
Recently, after the current ceasefire, they returned to what was left of their home because the beach was too cold, and their tent kept flooding. You can see a photo of their destroyed home in the GoFundMe gallery.
• The building is completely leveled—there’s nothing left.
• There’s no transportation, no sewage system, no infrastructure.
• They are stranded in unlivable conditions, with no way to survive.
The sooner we can get them out, the better.
Now, There’s a Chance to Get Them Out
After two years of efforts, we have finally secured passports for all six family members. They are now awaiting entry permission into Egypt, expected in the next 4-6 weeks. Once they enter, the goal is to relocate them to Cairo or Alexandria, where they can begin rebuilding their lives in safety.
How Your Donation Will Help
✅ Secure a Safe Home – A low-cost home for them to live in
✅ Provide Basic Essentials – Food, clothing, and household necessities
✅ Urgent Medical Care – Their son has a disability and needs immediate attention, and all children need medical check-ups
✅ Help Mohammed Find a Job – So they can become independent and self-sufficient
✅ Establish a 6-Month Emergency Fund – To help them survive while they settle
I Will Be There Personally to Help
I am traveling to Egypt myself to ensure this family gets the support they need. I will be helping them through the transition and making sure they are safely relocated.
I am covering my own travel and food expenses—every dollar raised here goes directly to the family.
We Need to Raise $15,000-$20,000 to Save This Family
This is a rare chance to give Mohammed, Ayah, and their children a new beginning. Any amount helps—please donate and share to help them escape, survive, and start again.
