Help Jazz the Pomeranian Heal & Thrive
Meet Jazz — a black Pomeranian with a spirit we’re fighting to save.
Just a few days ago, Jazz was on the very TOP of the euthanasia list at the Jeju City Shelter. At just 6–7 years old, he had been completely forgotten — labeled “elderly,” injured, unresponsive, and even suspected of having brain damage. When we met him, he didn’t bark, flinch, or even move. His fur was a tangled, matted shell. His nails had curled nearly into his paw pads. His teeth were in unimaginable condition, and his skin was raw with infection. It was clear he had endured years of neglect and suffering.
But the moment we pulled him from that shelter… something changed.
Jazz came back to life. Slowly, but surely. A spark returned to his eyes. He wagged his tail. He looked at us. He wanted to live.
We named him Jazz because he was once so soulless — and we wanted to bring rhythm, color, and life back into him.
Now, we’re asking for your help to make that happen.
We were able to get him a basic x-ray at a local vet, but Jazz needs much more. This leg is entirely dislocated and twisted. It appears he’s been like this for quite awhile with no muscle. His left leg injury needs specialized orthopedic care from an experienced specialist vet. As of now, surgery is difficult due to lack of muscle and skin infection so we need to get this treatment first but we definitely need to go see a specialist.
We’re fundraising to cover:
• Advanced orthopedic and full exams
• Medications and treatment for his skin infections
• Physical therapy to build muscle for possible surgery
• Special massage therapy to increase circulation
• Dental care and extractions
• Any surgery he may need
• Customized wheelchair
• Recovery supplies and ongoing foster care
Avoided euthanasia, Jazz is ready to fight for his life — he just needs the chance. With your help, we can give him the second chance. No donation is too small, and every share helps.
