I am a cat lover and independent cat rescuer who has helped hundreds of cats in my community through TNR, socializing, fostering, and finding homes for adoptable kitties. I've helped so many have a better life, and now need help to be able to have one of my own kitties get a much-needed urgent surgery to improve his quality of life.

I rescued “Galaxy” when he was just 3 months old. His brother and other kittens rescued were adopted out to great families but Galaxy had numerous behavioral and medical issues which I needed to help him, including Giardia, Lungworms and an ear infection all which took months to resolve. Unfortunately, after numerous visits to the vet for the past 2 years for the chronic ear infection and many failed attempts and treatments to resolve it, it was finally discovered that he has a polyp in his ear canal which needs a very extensive and complex specialized surgery called “Ventral Bulla Osteotomy” . The vet who most recently examined him stated that “the problems with his ear (heavy discharge, malodor, infection, inflammation, pain, scratching) are due to the growth in the ear and will not regrow once operated and taken out fully during the surgery. As per the vet, the chances of the poly returning are slim to none” . Galaxy has been with me 2.5 years now, he already found his forever here-I LOVE HIM TO THE MOON AND BACK! The only thing he needs now is to finally be able to live pain and discomfort free.

As rewarding as it has been to help so many homeless cats, it breaks my heart that I have spent every penny helping so many cats and now can’t help my own fur baby. I’m currently facing my own medical hardships and have not been able to work for months, and unfortunately can’t afford the quoted estimate of $4000 for the procedure.
