After today we will be $5000 in the negative with pending medical appointments still being needed/required for their health. We are unable to keep going with debt like this over us especially being a small rescue. If we aren't able to raise these funds quickly I don't even want to start thinking of what that means.
Rescues rely on donations to keep their doors open. If they are unable to receive enough to stay afloat, they are then forced to close. When a rescue closes it not only puts their current rabbits at risk but any future rabbits as well since there is one less location for them to get assistance. Our rescue primarily handles medically at-risk rabbits where most aren't able to care for them with their medical needs, financially to afford treatment or even the time to provide proper care. Without a rescue in place to handle these cases they will be euthanized.
