Rescue Expansion - project cabin!
As a rescue we work with an average of 125 hedgehogs in need every year but sadly we turn down around 35% due to capacity issues.
Caring for litters of hoglets and nursing or expectant mothers, takes additional space and we currently cannot care for more than one mother and litter at a time with our current setup.
Our charity would like to expand our capacity and specifically be able to cater better for nursing females and litters of hoglets but we need your help.
As the founders Jay and Rachel are self funding the installation of a new cabin in memory of Jay’s father Mr Hans Jorg Calmus who passed away in September. The new hospital room will be in his memory.
The charity now needs to raise £10,000 to furbish this hospital cabin; we aim to install veterinary grade enclosures and 3 dedicated maternity spaces. The cabin will require electrical work and air conditioning.
We appreciate this is a huge ask but we are determined to achieve our goal so we can be here for the most vulnerable group of admissions.
PLEASE HELP US BY SHARING THIS FAR AND WIDE.
Thank you so much for your support.
