Rescue Elektra from Euthanasia: Donate Now

On March 26, animal control raided my home without any notice or notification and took Elektra. She was a very old and dear friend's dog, and I promised her that I would do whatever was necessary to care for the dog while she went into a live-in care facility. My friend died unexpectedly in the aforementioned facility, and I have since cared for the dog night and day.

I've been the subject of harassment and reports to animal control and other agencies for nearly four years now. One neighbor even took me to court stating (falsely) that my dog attacked her dog and "nearly killed it." She clearly had no case, as she presented zero critical evidence, and the case was thrown out.

Elektra now sits in the shelter without her much-needed medication and will be euthanized on April 24 if I can't pay the seemingly endless fines to secure her release. I've paid untold thousands of dollars in the past three years and simply don't have any more to pay. Anything will help! Thank you very much.
