About us:

Hi - My name is Fairy Sammy and I run Food Fairies for Street Dogs & Cats. We are a cause based in Swindon, Wiltshire which is made up of volunteers. Our mission is to help street and rescue dogs & cats here and abroad with food, sterilisation and medication. For further information, please do follow us on Facebook.

The event:

Caroline McBeth is running the London Marathon on SUNDAY 23 APRIL 2023 in aid of Food Fairies for Street Dogs & Cats and we'd love you to sponsor her. Running in such a prestigious race takes a huge amount of dedication and commitment. Caroline is a seasoned runner but this does not mean it will be easy for her! The sheer determination to get to the finish line in such an epic event is unparalleled with anything else. 'Hitting the wall' (a running term), tight calf muscles, losing steam, avoiding illness, cramps, weather and motivation are the most common problems runners face. It is tough, really tough.

The money raised will be used to buy food locally for two of the rescuers we support in Romania. We feel their dedication and determination to save, re-habilitate and re-home dogs and cats is matched to the dedication and determination displayed by Caroline.

Please donate generously as every £1 really will make a difference to a voiceless dog or cat. They never chose to be born so let's at least do our little bit to help them on their way to a better life.
