Hi, I’m Taylor and I’m currently fostering a small French Bulldog named Lemon through Legacy of Love Rescue (501c3).

When Lemon was rescued, she wasn’t just scared, she was shut down and living in constant pain.

She had been repeatedly bred at only 14 pounds, which caused severe damage to her hips and body.

She is also blind, and one of her eyes had to be removed. After surgery the socket became infected and had to be drained and treated by the vet.

Despite everything, in just one week she has started to trust, cuddle, and follow my other blind dog around for comfort.

But she still has issues walking properly due to her hips being severely damaged.

What Lemon needs medically

Lemon requires a double FHO surgery (both hips) so she can walk without pain.

She also needs:

• Spay surgery (she was never fixed)

• Dental surgery from neglect

• Removal of retained puppy teeth (double canines)

• Ongoing medical care and medication

Care she has already received

Legacy of Love has already covered:

• Emergency eye treatment and drainage after infection

• Bloodwork

• X-rays

• Veterinary exams and medication

The rescue has invested a lot into saving her life now we need help finishing it.

Every dollar goes straight to Lemon’s medical treatment and surgeries.
