We have an urgent case. This poor rescue dog finally finds a forever home with his sibling and now he got hit and run and needs emergency surgery to save his life. The family has run out of money, he will have to be put down if we can't raise the money. We know times are hard, we feel bad asking, but anything you can do to help us save this baby. They did get care credit and are already were at $5000 just to stabilize him, but now that they know the extent of his injuries it is going to be between $15,000-20,000.

On May 7, 2024 this sweet rescue baby was hit and run on Kam Highyway in Kaneohe. He somehow got out of the yard but they didn't know until they heard the hit. The pilau people slowed but did not stop. He was rushed to feather and fur. He has a broken pelvis and femur and will need 2 surgeries. The vet said if he was an older, he would not have survived. He is fighting.

The family that took this dog in, has been rescuing animals for many years, taking in fosters and abandoned cats and dogs all through the pandemic. They spend all their money trying to save animals. I myself have 2 babies that I adopted that were saved by them. Now they need help.
