Over the years Dax has worked with me (a psychotherapist) as an emotional support Therapy dog, he feels you become upset and comes over to hug you and lick your tears away! .. Today my loyal friend and an excellent Emotional support dog to my clients become paralysed. After rushing to vets and a MRI we now know what’s needed! Dax has a disc exploded in his spine and the debris has bruised and trapped his spinal cord, he is paralysed (4/5) he will need a big surgery. He has a reasonable chance of walking again if we can act quick. His insurance covers him for £2,000 , the MRI cost 2,500 with the surgery an extra £4,000 . Total cost £6,000.
Total cost I need to raise is £4500. If all goes well after today’s surgery he will be allowed home Saturday.I cannot bring Dax home until I have paid the amount.
Dax is a happy 4 yr old, who loves everyone, he works with me and offers client “sausage dog hugs”when they are showing emotions, he really is a beautiful soul. He himself was a rescue from Turkey!

Over the years I have raised thousands of pounds for stray dogs but never for one of my own rescues I will be selling my belongings and auctioning art to raise funds .
