Rescue Colt from Euthanasia: Act Now

Hi, my name is Caroline. I am making this go fund me to raise money for a dog in need of medical attention. Colt (Rex is his new name), a 5 year old German Shepard, is at risk to be euthanized on 5/12/25. He was taken to Rowan Country Animal shelter by animal control, they found him on the side of the road in bad condition. The shelter believes he was surrendered by an owner and was involved in a car accident and attacked by a dog, coyote, etc. He had many wounds on his neck that have been treated and are healing nicely, although half of his neck has been shaved. He is still struggling with a leg injury as he can barely walk and has a bad limp. They don’t have funds to get him x-rays or any intensive care. My goal is to adopt him and take him to a German Shepard rescue or a facility with the proper resources and donate the money to his care before he is euthanized. Please help me help this boy out, after everything he’s been through he is still the sweetest boy just like the post above said. He licked my faced, initiated play, and nestled up in my arms almost immediately after meeting him today. Please help out in whatever way you can and are comfortable with. Even sharing the link to this helps so much. Thank you!!!!!! I will update everyone on this process as well. Update: we went to vet, he is 1 years old and has a broken femur. Surgery was done today 5/12. He also has a torn Acl which will need to be treated after he heals. Please share or donate I need your support
