For all those who know me, you know how much I love my cats. They are my family. I rescued Oreo from the streets, and ever since then, he’s brought so much love, warmth, and comfort into my life.

Unfortunately, Oreo is now facing two serious health issues that require urgent surgery and care.

First, he has a severe dental infection that has made it hard for him to breathe. After a recent vet visit, I was told he needs a full dental extraction, including his canines, to stop the infection from spreading and to help him breathe properly again. The vet said this can’t wait—it’s already affecting his quality of life.

Second, Oreo needs an enucleation (eye removal). His eye is beyond saving and, if not removed soon, could lead to further complications, pain, and potential systemic infection.

These two surgeries, along with the medications and follow-up vet visits, will cost around $2,200. As much as it breaks my heart to ask, I am currently not working and simply don’t have the means to cover these medical expenses on my own. That’s why I’ve created this GoFundMe—for Oreo.

Ayuda para Oreo – Mi gatito rescatado necesita dos cirugías urgentes

Quienes me conocen, saben cuánto amo a mis gatos. Son parte de mi familia. Rescaté a Oreo de la calle, y desde entonces ha llenado mi vida de amor, ternura y compañía.

Lamentablemente, Oreo está enfrentando dos problemas de salud muy serios que requieren cirugías urgentes.

Primero, tiene una infección dental severa que le está dificultando respirar. En una reciente visita al veterinario, me dijeron que necesita una extracción dental completa, incluyendo los colmillos, para evitar que la infección se propague y para que pueda volver a respirar con normalidad. El veterinario dijo que no se puede esperar más—ya está afectando seriamente su calidad de vida.

Segundo, Oreo necesita una enucleación (extracción del ojo). Su ojo ya no se puede salvar y, si no se opera pronto, podría causarle más dolor, complicaciones e incluso infecciones graves.

Estas dos cirugías, junto con los medicamentos y las consultas veterinarias, cuestan alrededor de $2,200 dólares. Me parte el corazón tener que pedir ayuda, pero actualmente no estoy trabajando y no tengo los medios para cubrir estos gastos médicos por mi cuenta.
