Hi, my name is Wing Crawley and I am running 100 km on the 17th May to raise funds to help Liberia Chimpanzee Rescue & Protection (LCRP) expand their sanctuary and cover the costs of caring for over 100 orphan chimpanzees. Founders Dr Jim and Jenny Desmond and their team are some of the most amazing people you will ever meet. Not only do they run this awesome sanctuary, LCRP also do fantastic work to combat wildlife crime, conserve chimpanzees and their habitat and support communities through sustainable livelihood initiatives. I was privileged to work with the Desmonds and their amazing team a few years ago managing their projects. Their passion, commitment and sheer determination to keep fighting for the chimps is humbling and truly inspiring.
