Rescue Abused Breed Dogs - irescuebalidogs

On the 14th of June I received a distressing message from my friend who discovered approx 20 backyard breed dogs crowded in small cages, covered in their own feces, struggling to survive. The "owner" informed us that unless adopted today, he would put them all down. No veterinarian of sane mind in Bali would do this, so if it wasn't bad enough that he was willing to put down these innocent lives, we could also be pretty confident that they would suffer a painful death.

As I speak a huge rescue mission has begun. With the help of several good hearted individual rescuers in Bali we have come together and safely taken the dogs out from this hell. Some are very sick or paralysed and some are miraculously healthy and hopefully ready for foster/adopter. As I'm writing this we still don't know exactly how many dogs we have on our hands, how many will survive, how much mental trauma they have, or how we will find homes to place them in. All of these dogs need care, some more than others. Many will have to be admitted for intensive care. 

What we do know with certainty is that we are dedicated to helping these innocent sweet lives. We also know with certainty that the veterinary bill will be greater than we've ever experienced before. Here is where you come in. We need your help, desperately.
