Rescue 7 Puppies from Cyprus to UK

Thanks so much for reading this, my name is James. I arrived in North Cyprus for holiday in the 2nd week of September, 2 days in a stray appeared in my back garden, which I commenced to water and feed on a daily basis. A few days after and once I had gained her trust, to my shock / surprise, she started to bring her puppy’s to the kitchen teras. Mom is such a lovely and gentle dog, watching her care for these pups has REALLY tugged on my heart strings, talking to neighbours I am aware this beautiful dog has been through a lot!!

Luckily I have friends staying with me for a week (thanks Lynda Ross and hubby Steve for all your help) so we set about building a temp corner on the teras for the pups and Mom. Today, we built a more substantial hutch (thanks to one of my closest friends Ekrem Cengizoğlu) for Mom and her puppy’s, they have settled in well.

I will continue feeding Mom and ensuring her and the litter are as well looked after as possible. I will get any / all injections they need sorted, plus Mom fully checked and spayed when the time is right.

I have contacted local charities for assistance and guidance as I will need to go home in 3-4 weeks, however they are so overcrowded that they can’t provide any credible support at all. I don’t want to let the litter go anywhere untill I know they are on solids anyway, IMO they are best to remain under my care for the next few weeks.

Given the current situation in Cyprus with the overwhelming population of dogs in kennels or that are simply stray, I am not at all hopeful that I am going to be able to get these dogs rehomed safely here, so I have been in touch with various charities, however Saving Souls has been the most helpful by far and they continue to help, I encourage you to check out their website:

I will adopt Mom but I need to raise funds to board the Pups and bring them to the UK where they may then get homed. I need to raise about £1000 minimum per pup for injections, boarding, travel etc. I am currently funding any / all costs for Mom and the immediate care of the pups.

Please help me bring these lovely creatures to a safe place where they will be loved.
