Requesting much-needed support for vegan women

Hello, 
We are Blaine Wilkes and Lynn Halpern. We  live in the Boulder, Colorado area and we need your help for our friends. 

On December 30th, in Colorado, tragedy struck the towns of Superior and Louisville. In the early afternoon of a typical but historically windy Thursday, a wildfire erupted that raged through neighborhoods, shopping malls and hotels with an unstoppable force. After 24 horrific hours, over 1000 homes were destroyed and thousands of lives were forever changed.

 

 

Among the victims were two compassionate vegans, Judylynn Schmidt and Melanie Glover. Judylynn and Mel lived next door to one another, are close friends and both members of the Boulder Chapter of Vegan Ladyboss. They had two minutes to get their families and get out the door as fire and smoke raged towards their homes. It is heartbreaking to write but both also lost beloved cats.
