My name is Esther, I am 21 years old, we are American citizens, I have been studying at UF for 3 years, I am graduating to study medicine, I have an angel who is helping me with my housing during this difficult time that my family is going through. My brother is 17 years old, he studies at Horizon West high school and is number #1 in the entire high school, he has a GPA of 5.471, scored over 1.410 on the government test, wants to graduate in engineering and go to work at NASA, he is a brilliant student. My mother is sick and spends almost the whole day in bed unable to get up and only our father worked, he will only be able to return to work in May 2026 if God wills. Today we are 3 months behind on rent, water, electricity, internet all overdue, the power is about to be cut off now in January, we have no food at home, we don't have a car or money to go try to get food donations, we are going through an extremely difficult situation and if we don't pay part of the rent by January 20th, we will be evicted. We are desperate, and for that reason, we created this request for help so that my brother and mother don't have to return to Brazil and my brother doesn't lose all the effort and dedication he put into achieving all these excellent results at school. I have no doubt that he will be the best engineer NASA has ever had in all these years. He is exceptional, in addition to being an incredible person, a golden boy. Anyone who knows him knows this. He has already been accepted into two universities in Florida with full scholarships and an additional amount for living expenses. Anyone who knows the USA knows that this is only possible for the best students. I am asking for a total of $20,000 because we owe $9,000 for 3 months of rent with the penalty, and $4,000 for other overdue bills and to buy food. This difference is to pay for January, February, and March 2026, and some medications and health insurance. My mother needs to take some medications daily. We are Christians and believe that God can act through each of you who will help us with whatever you can. Everything will be welcome and will be a blessing in our lives. Please forgive us for having to ask you for help, but the despair of having to return to Brazil without my brother being able to graduate from the best engineering school the U.S. has ever had is very sad for me as his sister. Minha mãe está doente e passa quase todo o dia de cama sem conseguir se levantar e somente nosso pai trabalhava, ele poderá voltar a trabalhar somente em Maio de 2026 se Deus quiser.

Hoje estamos com 3 meses de aluguel atrasados, água, luz, internet tudo atrasado, a energia está para cortar agora em Janeiro, estamos sem comida em casa, não temos carro e nem $ para irmos tentar doações de comida, estamos passando uma situação extremamente difícil e se não pagarmos uma parte do aluguel até 20 de Janeiro, seremos despejados. Estamos desesperados e por essa razão criamos essa solicitação de ajuda para que meu irmão e minha mãe não voltem para o Brasil e meu irmão perca todo o esforço e dedicação que ele fez para conseguir alcançar todos esses excelentes resultados na escola, não tenho dúvidas que ele será o melhor engenheiro que a NASA já teve em todos esses anos, ele é diferenciado, além de ser uma pessoa incrível, um menino de ouro, quem o conhece sabe disso, ele já foi aprovado em 2 universidades da Florida com bolsa integral e mais um valor para ajuda de custo, quem conhece os EUA sabe que isso é possível apenas para os melhores estudantes.

Estou pedindo o total de $20k pois estamos devendo $9k dos 3 meses de aluguel com a multa, e 4k das outras contas atrasadas e para comprar comida, essa diferença é para pagarmos Janeiro, Fevereiro e Março 2026 e alguns remédios e seguro saúde, minha mãe precisa tomar alguns remédios diariamente.

Somos cristãos e cremos que Deus pode agir por meio de cada um de vcs que irão nos ajudar com o que puder, tudo será bem vindo e será benção nas nossas vidas. Nos perdoe por chegar a lhe pedir ajuda, mas o desespero de ter que voltar pro Brasil sem meu irmão conseguir se formar no melhor engenheiro que os EUA já teve é muito triste pra mim como irmã dele.
