My name is Jabir Ullah, and I am raising funds for my cousin Adnan Khan from Peshawar, Pakistan.

Adnan, a 32-year-old self-employed youn man, was the only breadwinner of his family. He is the only brother of 5 sisters, and a father of three very young children, including a daughter who was born just one month before his illness. His own father passed away two years ago at the age of only 48, leaving Adnan as the sole support for the family.

Around 40 days ago, while working at his shop, Adnan suddenly fell ill with severe weakness and paralysis. He was admitted to Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH), Peshawar, where he was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) – a rare, life-threatening neurological disorder that can cause total paralysis.

Today, Adnan is lying in bed, unable to move, only able to open and close his eyes. Doctors have strongly recommended IV Immunoglobulin (IVIG) therapy, the only effective treatment for GBS.

The treatment cost is PKR 3.7 million (approx. €11,000–12,000) – an impossible amount for his struggling family. We, his relatives, are arranging half of the amount ourselves, but we desperately need your help to raise the remaining €6,000 to begin his life-saving treatment.
