Hi, I am Kim Keck. My brother, Dave Cole had multiple cardiac events this last week and was admitted twice to the hospital. The second trip to the ER occurred 45 minutes after being discharged.

Dave is a lifetime resident of Whatcom County who has lived in Bellingham's Historic Broadway Neighborhood for 3+ decades with his wife. They have raised 5 children, a niece and grandchildren there.

Many of you know Dave from Ferndale High School where he played football or from the Boys & Girl's club where he coached his son and other Bellingham youth in football.

David is well known for his work installing and maintaining and even repairing fire systems and security alarms in both commercial and residential facilities.

David is an amazing guitar player, song writer and friend of Bill W. and he is my "little" brother.

He will be out of work for at least 90 days. Some of the heart tissue has died and his heart is functioning at less than 40%. Now he has medical bills not covered by insurance and some pretty expensive prescription co-pays.
